Members Duathlon: The club will hold a members only duathlon in the Forest Park on Sunday April 28, at 10am and is free to enter. The distances will be a 5k park run, 20k cycle and 3k run and it will be a good warm up to any members doing the Boyle Duathlon the following week-end. Please let Donal or Mark know if you intend competing by mailing loughkeytriclub@gmail.com and expressing an interest.

New Gear: We will be having an order window shortly for the new club gear. Expressions of interest were sought from members over the past couple of weeks as to what they would like to see on the gear list this year and Roy is putting these together at the moment. There will be a notice over the coming week or so as to what gear will definitely be available and at what price so keep an eye on your mails and the club Facebook page for exact details.

Training Times: The Saturday morning ride has now changed to the slightly earlier time of 7.30am and leaves from Esquires as usual. The earlier time didn’t seem to upset anyone last Saturday as we had large numbers out for both long and short spin. We will be adding a mid week cycle also over the next week or so keep an eye on e-mail and Facebook updates for further info on that. We will also be updating the mid week run times and we will also see the introduction of open water swims in Lough Key over the next month or so, we just need to let the water temperatures come up a little from their recent lows.
