Drumshanbo celebrates the sixtieth consecutive year of it’s An Tóstal festival. To kick off this year’s extensive programme of festivities a competition to choose the sixtieth An Tóstal colleen will take place in the Lough Allen Hotel & Spa, Drumshanbo on Saturday 21st April at 8.30pm.

In addition to a great night’s entertainment you will be supporting a very worthy cause. eing run in conjunction with S.T.O.P. S.T.O.P. is a North Leitrim based charity who support people in distress and those who have been affected by suicide.eing run in conjunction with S.T.O.P. S.T.O.P. is a North Leitrim based charity who support people in distress and those who have been affected by suicide. This event is being run in conjunction with S.T.O.P. S.T.O.P. is a North Leitrim based charity that supports people in distress and those affected by suicide. They also provide bereavement support through suicide bereavement group meetings and social supports.

The host on the night will be Drumshanbo and Ocean FM’s Kevin Blessing and with Kevin at the helm the craic is guaranteed!!!

We are currently looking for participants aged between 18 and 28 to become part of this special night for STOP. When the winner will walk away with The An Tostal Colleen 2012 crown and a cash prize of € 500. There has been keen interest thus far and the closing date for receipt of entries is Saturday April 6th.
