Two Carrick businesses broken into

Two premises on Main Street, Carrick-on-Shannon were broken into last week.

Early last week on two separate nights the back doors of premises on Main Street were damaged to gain entry to the buildings.

A substantial amount of cash was taken from one premises while, money from a poor box and some other items were taken from the other.

Gardai are asking business people to be vigilant and to ensure all alarms are in working order.
