Visiting restrictions lifted at Sligo General

The visiting restrictions which had been in place at Sligo Regional Hospital due to the presence of Norovirus (winter vomiting bug) have now been lifted.

The visiting restrictions which had been in place at Sligo Regional Hospital due to the presence of Norovirus (winter vomiting bug) have now been lifted.

Normal visiting hours have resumed on all wards, and visitors are asked to adhere to these visiting times. The visiting times for Sligo Regional Hospital are 2 pm – 4pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

The Hospital is asking people in the community with vomiting and diarrhoea to refrain from visiting until their symptoms have cleared.
