Gardai pursue two vehicles out of
Carrick last Saturday

Carrick-on-Shannon Gardai gave chase to two vehicles last Saturday, October 5. One vehicle which failed to stop at a random alcohol checkpoint was pursued for a considerable time and stopped in Corriga, Carrigallen.

The driver was arrested and a file is being prepared on the incident. On the same date a stolen car from Dublin was observed in Carrick-on-Shannon. After a short chase out of the town, Gardai stopped the car and the person was apprehended and will appear before court shortly.
