Garda operation sees recovery of stolen machinery valued at over €100,000

A garda operation in the south Leitrim area this morning (Friday, September 26), has recovered stolen machinery valued at over €100,000.

A garda operation in the south Leitrim area this morning (Friday, September 26), has recovered stolen machinery valued at over €100,000.

Gardai did not wish to disclose the exact location of the find but confirmed they have recovered a low loader, digger, pole erector and rock breaker believed to have been stolen in recent weeks.

The operation is ongoing and garda enquiries are continuing.
