Boyle is celebrating the news that Chris O’Dowd’s Sky One comedy Moone Boy has been given the go-ahead for a third series
Sky’s Head of Comedy, Lucy Lumsden said, “Since we started on the comedy journey at Sky in 2010, we’ve established some of the most loved series across our four entertainment channels.
“The outstanding talent at the heart of these new programmes just shows how much more ambition we’ve got for comedy at Sky going forward. There’s a lot more we still want to do!”
The second series of Moone Boy is expectied to air this Autumn and the filming for the third series will be later this year with Carrigallen actor David Rawle set to return as the star of the show.
