The annual Kilmore Diocesan PTAA dinner in the Kilmore Hotel, preceeded by mass in Killygarry Church will take place on Sunday, September 27.

The mass will take place at 3pm and will be celebrated by Fr Johnny Cusack and Bishop Leo O’Reilly has been invited to attend. The dinner is scheduled for 4pm with dancing afterwards to ‘The Hustlers’. Everyone is welcome.

The President of the Diocesan PTAA Hugh Farrell says that the Lady of the Erne, Paula McPartland, will be in attendance.

Hugh Farrell says this annual event is always one of the highlights of the year and there is a new vibrancy in the pioneer movement and 26 new people have joined the Crosserlough Centre in the East Cavan Region.

1,800 wristbands were circulated last year to create a greater awareness of the PTAA and they also had a stand at Virginia Show this year.

A large crowd from the Diocese also attend the Matt Talbot day in Knock.

Consideration is being given to running an open talent competition early in the new year.
