New York anti-fracking group in Glenfarne this Friday

Three campaigners who have been at the forefront of the hugely successful New York campaign against fracking will speak at a special public meeting in Glenfarne this coming Friday (April 3), at 8pm in the Ballroom of Romance.

Three campaigners who have been at the forefront of the hugely successful New York campaign against fracking will speak at a special public meeting in Glenfarne this coming Friday (April 3), at 8pm in the Ballroom of Romance.

John Armstrong, Renee Vogelsang and Julia Walsh are on a tour of Ireland to raise awareness of the current situation regarding fracking in this country. The meeting is open to all and is organised by GEAI (Good Energies Alliance Ireland), Love Leitrim and North West Network against Fracking.

Aheado f the event, Aedín McLoughlin from GEAI, told the Observer: “The three New York campaigners are inspirational speakers and we look forward very much to meeting them. We look forward to hearing how their success was achieved.”
