5th annual Swim, Finn and Snorkel takes
place in Jamestown

Leitrim Sub-Aqua Club ran its 5th Annual Swim, Finn and Snorkel from Jamestown to Drumsna recently with the club sharing the event with the North West Simon Community.

Leitrim Sub-Aqua Club ran its 5th Annual Swim, Finn and Snorkel from Jamestown to Drumsna recently with the club sharing the event with the North West Simon Community.

48 swimmers turned out on one of the hottest days of the year, with a family barbeque and face painting taking place at the quay in Drumsna along with a super gig in Duignans with the great John O’Dowd. €2,557.30 was raised on the day which a great help to both organisations.

Both the Sub Aqua Club and The North West Simon Community would like to thank all the swimmers who showed up and all who took sponsorship cards- next year both organisations are planning to make this event bigger and better. This event went ahead with the help of Leitrim Civil Defence, Lough Allen Adventure Centre, Drumshanbo Canoe and Yacht Club and the Carrick branch of the Inland Waterway.
