Comiskey welcomes funding for Manorhamilton

Fine Gael Senator, Michael Comiskey, has welcomed the funding allocated for the North Leitrim Community Amenity Project by the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan.

Fine Gael Senator, Michael Comiskey, has welcomed the funding allocated for the North Leitrim Community Amenity Project by the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan.

€309,000 was allocated to the North Leitrim Community Amenity Project for a new all-weather Astro Turf Pitch to include flood lighting and spectator facilities adjacent to the Bee Park in Manorhamilton.

“I have been in contact with Minister Phil Hogan’s office on a number of occasions in relation to this project and as a member of the Leitrim Development Company, I have worked very closely with them on this project over the last year and I am delighted that we have had a good outcome,” he said.
