Public consultation on
Sean Mac Diarmada film project in County Library

A film story based on Seán Mac Diarmada and the 1916 rising is currently being written by the filmmaker Kevin McCann and author Gerard MacAtasney (supported by Leitrim County Library). As part of the project a public consultation event about the writing project will take place this Thursday, October 11 at 6.30pm in the Library in Ballinamore.

All members of the public are invited to attend and admission is free.

It is expected that there are members of the public with a great interest in the telling of this story - many of whom have important points of view and interesting stories for inclusion.

The event will focus on discussion of ideas with the public.

The filmmakers wish to explore all aspects about the life of this important figure in the history of Co Leitrim and Ireland. So please come along and share your views and ideas.
