Feighan to highlight Dromod/Rooskey bus service

Local Fine Gael Deputy Frank Feighan said he will directly highlight the issue of bus service routes through Ballinamore, Dromod and Rooskey at a meeting today (Wednesday) with Bus Eireann CEO, Martin Nolan.

Local Fine Gael Deputy Frank Feighan said he will directly highlight the issue of bus service routes through Ballinamore, Dromod and Rooskey at a meeting today (Wednesday) with Bus Eireann CEO, Martin Nolan.

Bus Eireann CEO Martin Nolan will be attending a Fine Gael Internal Transport Committee meeting this afternoon to discuss Bus Eireann’s imminent cost-cutting programme and developments regarding its public service obligation and the opening up of the market.  

“I will be using this opportunity to highlight the issues and concerns surrounding bus routes through Ballinamore and Dromod/Rooskey,” Deputy Frank Feighan told the Leitrim Observer. I look forward to hearing Martin’s views and his level of willingness to address the real concerns being expressed by local people in these villages.”
