The figures do not include school leavers who went onto do PLC course or commenced an apprentice. The table also does not record students who enrolled in British colleges.

Carrick-on-Shannon Community School tops the county table with 92% of pupils continuing to third level education, 88% of Lough Allen College’s students continued to third level.

Ballinamore PPS and Mohill Community College had 87% that went to third level, St Clare’s Comprehensive, Manorhamilton had 67%, Carrigallen Vocational School had 66% and Drumshanbo Vocational school had 56%. IT Sligo, NUIG and UCD were the most popular choices for students.
