The new business has brought 10 jobs to the County Town and is, says owner, Nicky Davey, “the biggest indoor track in Ireland” with 30,000 sq feet of karting space.

The karts are suitable for drivers 12 years and older and all drivers are given safety instruction before entering the track.

Carrick Indoor Karting is located in the former Reynolds Hardware Store on the Leitrim Road in Carrick-on-Shannon and the facility includes snack bar, pool table, video games and much more.

Discounts available for larger groups, with catering for stags, hens and corporate groups a speciality.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 4pm to 9pm and Friday through Sunday from 10am to 9pm.

The official opening of the business will be held on Saturday, November 22 where a very special mystery guest star is set to make an appearance.

To make a booking phone (087) 6674530 or (071) 9621625.
