Boil water notices issued

Irish Water and Leitrim County Council have issued a Boil Water Notice for the Kiltyclogher public water supply following contamination. It is recommended that all users on the Supply Scheme boil water before use. Please be aware that domestic water filters will not render water safe to drink. Irish Water and Leitrim County Council will continue to liaise with the HSE with a view to lifting the Boil Water Notice as soon as practicable.

In a separate notice, Irish Water advises that the boil water notice issued for part of Manorhamilton in June is still ongoing.

The boil water notice applies to Upper Main St from the Reserve Defence Force Barracks to the roundabout on the N16 and the Hillside Crescent Estate in Manorhamilton. It has been put in place as a precautionary measure on the advice of the HSE.
