For two years since the take over of the Quinn Group in April 2011, acts of vandalism, arson and sabotage have been reported on the property of the manufacturing company.
April 2011 - Dumper abandoned across the entrance to Quinn Group Head Quarters, Derrylin, disrupting work.
May 2011- Reports of “sabotage” to Quinn Group machinery and property.
July 2011- Arson attack on Quinn Tarmac, Derrylin. Two vans, a lorry, a loading shovel vehicle, tarmac spreader set alight over night.
August 2011 - New CEO of the Quinn Group Paul O’Brien’s cars are set alight while parked in the driveway of his family home in Rathoath, Co Meath.
December 2011- Lorry driven into the Quinn Group Canteen, Derrylin.
January 2012- Quinn Group Head Quarters, Derrylin damaged by fire.
March 2012 - Fire outside Quinn Packaging, Ballyconnell, lorry set ablaze.
November 2012 - An electrical substation located in the wind farm formerly owned by Sean Quinn at Doon area near Ballyconnell, targeted by arsonists.
February 2013- Bullet and threatening note sent to Lagan Group Chief Kevin Lagan at his Belfast Office. The Lagan group were in the process of a joint venture with the Quinn Group.
March 2013- Poles cut down and burned in the Derrylin. The Quinn Communications Network firebombed.
April 2013- Arson attack on a Quinn Group crane working at the site of Ballinamore Community School.
