Support Rural transport

Fianna Fail councillor, Paddy O’Rourke has called the Council to “support the present Rural Transport system which, in a County which has a very weak public transport system, has been a life line for many rural dwellers’ who otherwise would be confined to their homes, with the obvious knock on effect for their health and well being, along with the local economy they support when out and about.”

His motion received unanimous support.
