A very special fund raising event is being held in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday, August 30 in aid of a very brave little boy.
Rory Cryan is only 20 months old but he is already bravely battling serious illness. He has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a very rare form of cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
Luckily for Rory, he is surrounded by a wide circle of family and friends who love and support him but to help meet the significant costs of his treatment, a special fund raising event has been organised at Cryan’s Pub on August 30.
The event will kick off at 10pm with a great session of bluegrass music. There will be plenty of music, prizes and finger food on the night as well.
Organisers are now appealing for donations of prizes which can be raffled on the night. Any prizes can be dropped into Cryan’s Hotel for the attention of Noel Cryan.
Anyone who wishes to make a donation, no matter how small, can do so on the night, or, if you are unable to attend, you can drop any donation directly into Cryan’s Hotel.
