Waterways Ireland has issued a statement advising masters and owners of vessels that they have had to move to temporarily close Drumshanbo Lock until Friday, October 24, 2014.

Waterways Ireland has issued a statement advising masters and owners of vessels that they have had to move to temporarily close Drumshanbo Lock until Friday, October 24, 2014.

The decision has been made to allow essential gate repairs to be carried out at this location.

“Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter,” said a spokesperson this week.
