VistaMed Ltd, the Irish medical devices company based in the IDA Business & Technology Park, Carrick-on-Shannon are planning to extend their facility.
The company submitted a planning application to Leitrim County Council last week for an extension to the building, to include extra industrial floor space, more offices, an extended canteen and an extra 150 car parking spaces as well as extra access roads.
The council is due to make it’s decision in September.
The most recent extension to the successful business was opened by Minister Richard Bruton in May last year, alongside an announcement of 125 more jobs. The company assembles medical equipment and also has an R&D Engineering Laboratory which reinforces VistaMed’s continuing support for innovative design and development.
