This May, Co Leitrim will see everything from dance to a May Madness Ball, from drama to singing as part of this year’s nation-wide Bealtaine events celebrating creativity as we age.

The Dock, in Carrick on Shannon, will present “Thought Once Was”, a double-bill of dance by Chrysalis Dance, on 10th May. Chrysalis, Ireland’s leading neo-classical dance company, have firmly established themselves as a cutting-edge company, revolutionising classical ballet and fusing exquisite technical ability with modern, accessible themes.
