Ireland’s largest independent supplier in the Irish business energy market, Energia, will supply two more Leitrim primary schools with all their energy needs.

Leitrim National School in Carrick-on-Shannon and St Michael’s East Barrs School, Glenfarne, have joined seven other primary schools in the Leitrim area in making the switch to Energia.

The energy provider already supplies electricity to seven national schools throughout Leitrim including St Monoghan’s National School in Mohill, St Patrick’s, Ballinamore and St Clare’s National School in Manorhamilton. The company recently won a major public tender to supply energy to over 1,000 Irish national schools with the value of the contract estimated to be in the region of €4.5 million.
