New EU carers website

Independent MEP Marian Harkin has hailed the launch of an EU-wide website for Europe’s carers, and encouraged carers in Ireland to “take a look and see what tools and services may be of use to them in their busy lives”.

Speaking during National Carers Week (June 10-16), MEP Ms Harkin explained “the new website (www.Discover4carers.eu) functions as an online tool kit for carers, allowing them to access a number of resources from the comfort of their own homes”.
