Louise Gallagher from Aughnasheelin was selected as the best dressed lady at the recent Sligo Races.
Louise, a stylish lady who teaches agricultural science, is a first-time Littlewoods Ireland Best Dressed Ladies Series entrant.
Louise was awarded a €1,500 Littlewoods Ireland voucher for her fabulous ensemble on the day.
Her stunning blue dress, from Irish designer Caroline Kilkenny, was perfectly complemented by her headpiece, which is from Carrick-on-Shannon based milliner, David Ballantine.
The winning stylish look was completed with nude shoes from Aldo and clutch-bag from New Look. Louise’s nails were even manicured with delicate flowers to match her handbag – making it a perfectly stylish look from her fingers to her toes! On her win, Louise who plays for Oughteragh Ladies Football team said, “I’m absolutely delighted with the win; I really never expected to win for a second as the other entrants were so stylish!
“This was my first time in Sligo Racecourse and we had a few winning horses too so I am having a very lucky day. Thank you Littlewoods Ireland for the very generous prize, we just bought a new house, which I was still painting about two hours before I came to the races, so I will probably be spending the money on a few pieces from the homeware collection!”
TV presenter Maura Derrane wasthe judge on the day.
