The annual Manorhamilton St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place this year on this coming Sunday afternoon, March 16 commencing from the Fire Station at 5pm.

In order that the Parade is a success the organisers need stewards on the day to help out.

A bucket collection will also be taken up on the occasion to help defray Parade costs. The organisers ask you to please subscribe to this collection.

Everyone is invited to come out and support the local Parade as it passes through Manor. It is after all your chance to participate in the fun and gaiety of Ireland’s National Day in North Leitrim’s main town.

Why not make the colourful Parade a gala event as well and in a spirited way – celebrate the dawning locally of a new spring season to banish – like St. Patrick did – the wet dreary winter reptiles.

Further information on the Parade can had from its co-ordinator Gerry Creamer, phone 086-3855090.
