The first features video uploads features Fr Kevin being interviewed by primary school pupils and includes a greeting from the Bishop Elect to each of the 115 Catholic primary schools in the Elphin diocese.

The second video is Fr Kevin’s response to questions posed by a journalist following news of his appointment as Bishop Christopher Jones’ successor earlier this year.

In the course of the interviews Fr. Kevin also reveals that his ordination as Bishop of Elphin is to take place on Sunday July 13th and that it is likely to be available via the Internet.

Fr Kevin’s acceptance of the invitation to participate in the video initiative has also been welcomed by Bishop Jones and other diocesan personnel.

“I am delighted that Fr Kevin is open to engaging with our young people in this way,” said Bishop Jones.

“His coming among us and his willingness to participate in an educational venture such as this augurs well for the future.”
