WILD FLOWER GARDEN: Balcas Timber in partnership with Newtowngore Association offered part of the waste land to convert into Wild Flower area. Blacas plan on erecting an entrance opposite Millivew Park. There is a seating arrangement on a concrete area. There is a platform on the bank of the stream, from which you can enjoy the fauna, trees etc. Julia Marshall of wild flower enthusiast from Gorvagh, has been co-oped to the Association and Julia is assisting in planting the wild flower seeds. She will be keeping tabs on the 1st year of growth. Over the past 6 years, 2 Bug “hotels” have been developed. So whether you just want to sit and read or write surrounded by abundance of wild flowers, listen to the flowing stream, look at the different small wild life available, you are more than welcome. The area is not a play ground and of course all litter must be taken away.

SYMPATHY: Sincerest sympathy to the Hamill Family, Ballinamore on the death of their mother Teresa. Sympathy also to the Christy Family, Darcy Family and Fanning Families on their recent bereavements.
