Michael John Rowley (Miko): The unexpected death of Miko Rowley, Hyde St, Mohill at his home on June 7th 2013 has caused widespread regret in the whole community. He was the beloved husband of the late Clare and loving father of Edel, Joseph, Kenneth, Michael and Mark. He was a gentleman of many qualities, a Commissioner of Oaths. A noted funeral undertaker who had a wealth of knowledge from yesteryear and whom it was always a jot to meet. We shall miss Miko. The very large attendance at his removal to St. Patrick’s Church and again at his Requiem Mass on Sunday which was a celebration of his life together with the beautiful music added to the solemnity of this sad occasion. Following the Mass, a hearse drawn by two black horses took the remains to the adjoining cemetery where he was laid to rest with his dear wife, Clare. RIP. Our sympathies are with his sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters Pat, June and Eilish, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces and all who mourn Miko at this sad life. “People will walk in and out of your life but only loved ones will leave footprints in your heart”. May he Rest in Peace.
