CHILDHOOD DAYS:
Childhood Days is holding a buy or stay cake sale at the centre in Laird House on Friday, 26th July from 11. Please come and support or if anyone would like to donate a cake feel free. Contact Mary T on 0879309499. All proceeds go to Childhood Days for Children with Learning Disabilities.

MAYFLOWER COMMUINITY CENTRE BOOKINGS:

ST.JOHN’S HERITAGE GROUP:
The Group wishes to engage a suitably qualified person on a 4-month Contract as Project Development Consultant. Contact Stephen Rennicks to request tender Documents at rennicksstephen@eircom.net. Closing date for receipt of completed tenders is Friday 26th July at 5pm.

Water Safety Classes:
Registration for Irish Water Safety classes at Drumshanbo Outdoor pool for the week of Mon. 29th July took place in Aras Phadraig on Wed. 17th July. 
Anyone who did not get the opportunity to register may do so at pool gates  at 8.45am on Mon 29th July prior to commencement of classes.Full payment required on registration please. 

SPONSORED CYCLE:
Eamonn McGowan and friends are taking part in a four hour Sponsored Cycle in aid of Irish Handicapped Children’s Pilgrimage Trust (IHCPT) which brings special needs children to Lourdes. The Cycle will take place in the Car Park on this Friday 26th between 6pm and 10pm.Please subscribe generously.

BOXTY FEST:
Calling all boxty enthusiasts. As a special event to mark the 25th Joe Mooney Summer School we are holding a Boxty Fest (Saturday July 27th 3 to 5 in town centre). There will be an opportunity to sample leitrim’s finest boxty.Also a competetion will be held to find the best boxty in Drumshanbo. 
If you are interested in taking part in the competition you will need to make a plate of boxty and bring for judging on Saturday july 27th. If you would like more details contact Clare on 086 8826929 or Regina on 086 1685638.
