Bingo: Bingo continues on Thursday night in Drumsna at 9pm. Last week’s winners included Martina McGarry, Helen toolan, Raffle Jimmy Bohan, Free books Mary Noone, Corbally, Stephanie McTiernan, Mahanagh.

Drama Workshop: Alan Devine is giving a 3 day drama workshop for teenagers in St. Mary’s Hall Carrick-on-Shannon 1st July -3rd July. 11am to 3pm see dramaclub.ie for further details.

Drumsna family and vintage day: The weather held out well on Sunday for the Annual Vintage Day which started with a Blessing by Fr. John Wall P.P. Annaduff and grand opening by well known Shannonside personality Brendan Farrell who were grandly transported to the field by Sonny Moran. Gerry McGarry was M.C. for the day which was a wonderful mixture of old and new with traditional crafts courtesy of Annaduff I.C.A. ladies, besom making, Boxty making, Bric-a-brac stall, animal pens, Wellie Throwing, sand bag throwing, children’s races and football, dog show, Bouncy castles, and loads more. 
Thanks is extended to all the helpers, supporters, sponsors and everyone who came on the day. A list of winners etc., will be in next week’s notes.

Annaduff Parish Gathering: The Gathering takes place from Friday July 26th to Sunday July 28th inclusive., commencing with a welcome home evening on Friday July 26th in the G.A.A.Community centre with M.C. Fionnuala Maxwell . The talent of the Parish will be on show , so get your acts together and please let any member of the committee know so that a programme of events can be drawn up. On Saturday 27th there will be an interesting tour of the upper end of the Parish with Historian and writer Des Guckian. This takes place at 10am until Lunch time. 
After lunch there will be a fun family sports, football afternoon at the G.A.A. pitch. There will be a ceili on Saturday night in the Centre Annaduff. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Annaduff native Billy Faughnan cannot attend as previously stated but don’t worry there will be Ceili music , so get your dancing shoes ready. On Sunday July 28th ,it is hoped to have the re-dedication of St. Mary’s Church, and at 3.30 pm Noel Duignan will take you on a tour of the Historical village of Drumsna while Patricia O’Reilly takes the children on their own magical tour of fairyland , sorry I mean Drumsna! 
At 4pm we go to the Drumsna Community centre where you will be transported back in time to yesteryear and the way we were, finishing up with a chat and a cup of tea. You might even meet the future Rose of Tralee there. Book your tickets now and come home to Annaduff Parish Gathering at the end of July.

World Music Day: To celebrate World Music day Drumsna Style on this Friday June 21st there will be a traditional picnic on the banks of the Shannon side walk in our beautiful village. The hostsDrumsna C.C.E. invites all musicians, dancers, singers and enthusiasts to come along and join in the fun and enjoy all the goodies and treats at the picnic. We would also like if everyone would bring along with them the notes of their favourite tune on paper, as we will be tying them to our ‘’Tune Ballons’’ and then releasing them into the Summer sunset. Who knows where they might end up! All this fun is kicking off at 7.30pm. Be there.

Pastoral council Meeting: There will be a meeting of the Pastoral Council on to-night Wednesday June 19th at 8pm in The Church of The Immaculate Conception Drumsna .All members are requested to attend. On the Agenda is the reopening of Annaduff church and the upcoming works to Drumsna Church.

Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Mrs Elsie Taylor, Drumsna and the Taylor and Earley families on the death of Elsie’s brother Mike Early which took place recently. 
Sympathy is also extended to Anna and Pat Riordan and family Dublin Road, Drumsna on the death of Anna’s mother Mrs Teresa Hamill, Ballinamore. May their souls rest in peace. Amen.

BonFire Night: The Annual Drumsna Bonfire takes place as usual at the Quay, Drumsna on Sunday evening June 23rd. Leitrim Rose of Tralee Edwina Guckian will attend. The fire will be lit at 7pm sharp so you can come along and warm your toes before you go dancing at the crossroads in Effrinagh.

G.A.A./ Parish Lotto: The G.A.A /Parish Lotto has been postponed and will now take place in Taylor’s Bar Drumsna on next Sunday, June 23rd with a jackpot of €4,700
