Cloone Homecoming and School RUnion Festival Draw: Draw will take place in Creegans on Sunday 29 June. First prize: 2 tickets in the Sir Alex Ferguson stand for a Manchester United Fixture in the 2013/14 season plus a three course meal for two in The Manchester Suite. Aughavas Gathering: The Aughavas Gathering weekend will take place on Friday 9 August to Sunday 11 August 2013. 
A number of events are being organised in the parish which include, access to details of Church records for families from 1800 onwards and the marking of family plots in all the graveyards in the parish. School roll books from the many schools in the parish will also be on display. 
The Blessing of the Graves also takes place this weekend. There will also be drama and music in the Community Centre, art and craft exhibition and workshops, football and family fun day in the GAA park and Aughavas 1963 Leitrim Championship winners Re-union. Exhibitions of photographs and memorabilia on the bygone era of country shops and dance halls in the parish will be on display. 
If you have any old photographs or memorabilia we would love to hear from you.

I’ll Live Till I Die The Show: Ballinamore Library. A celebration in talk story and song of the iconic Delia Murphy will take place in Ballinamore Library on Tuesday 25 June at 5pm. Delia was a renowned singer of her day who gave the Irish ballad international recognition and ensured its everlasting appeal. 
Well known songs of Delia’s include ‘If I were a Blackbird’, ‘The Spinning Wheel’ and ‘Three Lovely Lassies’ are but a few. Admission to the show is free and should be a very interesting evening of nostalagic entertainment.

Mohill Men’s Group: We invite local men to join our group. We meet in the Canon Donohoe Hall, Mohill on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10.30am. We are currently working on a community garden, growing flowers and vegetables.

Charity Shop: The Mohill Family Support Centre is opening a charity shop in the Canon Donohoe Hall just on Friday 28 June from 10am to 3pm. We would be grateful for donations of items in good and re-usable condition, especially clothes, shoes, books, baby items and school uniforms. Leave your items into the Canon Donohoe Hall at any time. It is hoped to run it once a month.

Muscular Dystrophy Ireland: Muscular Dystrophy Ireland Carrigallen 10K Road Race will take place on Saturday, 6 July starting at 1pm at Carrigallen GAA Park.
