4 Locks Cycling Club: This is what summer is all about meandering around lanes on a mystery tour. The 4 Locks Cycling Club followed Joe Dolan on a sort of a mystery tour on Sunday 16 June. It turned out to be a very pleasant cycle with undulating hills and flats.
We cycled from Ballinamore to Swanlinbar, to Kilcawley, Derrylin, Belturbet, Milltown, Killeshandra and back to Ballinamore. It was about 78 Kilometres at a nice leisurely pace in beautiful summer countryside.
Next cycle on Wednesday at 7.30 pm meeting outside the Courthouse, Ballinamore.
All newcomers welcome. If we have enough new members we can do a short introductory cycle to get you started!
Summer outing: It is proposed to hold a summer outing the weekend after next on Sunday 30 June.
The plan is to meet at 10 a.m. in Strandhill Sligo, take a route from there and have lunch afterwards in Strandhill.
