Summer Reading Project:
Summer Reading Project commenced in Carrigallen Library on Monday last 24 June 2013 and will finish in September 2013.
So far there has been a very positive response by children and and their parents. It is free and it’s fun and is suitable for all Primary school children. All over the summer children can read books free from the library and see the tree grow – for every book a child reads a leaf goes up on the tree. By the end of the summer there should be a big leafy tree and lots of readers.
The children who read six or more books will be awarded a medal and certificate in September and Big Book Prize for the child who has read the most books. For further information, contact Helen on 049 4339188.
