GAA: Congrats to our wonderful U-16 champions. They took on the might of Garadice Gaels in a sun-drenched Fenagh last Friday evening. This was a Kiltubrid team that reached several finals down through the eyars and always lost so there was joy unconfined when they finally won this final. The whole team gave it their all and were very worthy winners at the final whistle. Well done to all the lads and their dedicated trainers. Leitrim and London drew at Carrick-on-Shannon last Sunday, 0-13 to 2-7. Replay is fixed for Roscommon on Sunday, June 30th. The day was bright but windy and played before a large crowd. Hopefully we will win the next match. The crowd was entertained by our own Kiltubrid Pipe Band and Sean Nos Dancing Troupe.
