A treat for mothers and daughters

Former TV broadcaster Theresa Lowe is the special guest at this year’s Longford Women’s Link Mothers and Daughters Lunch which is taking place in Lough Rynn Castle on April 21.

The annual lunch is one of the highlights of the social calendar in Longford Women’s Link, providing a great opportunity for women from around the region to get together while supporting a good cause.

“We are delighted to have Theresa Lowe on board as this year’s special guest. She is a very entertaining and interesting speaker and I know she will make this year’s event extra special,” Louise Lovett, CEO of Longford Women’s Link explained. With Mother’s Day fast approaching, there is huge interest in tickets for the Mothers and Daughters lunch.

“This year tickets are priced at €45 which includes lunch, entertainment, spot prizes and the famous goody bags which is fantastic value and a ticket really is a lovely Mother’s Day gift” Louise explained.

Once again Longford boutique Lure will be hosting the Fashion Showcase on the day and this year for the first time, local musicians Pascal, Liz and Dave will be providing the entertainment.

The Champagne reception starts at 1pm with the lunch kicking off at 2pm. The Mothers and Daughters Lunch has grown in popularity over the past few years and last year nearly 200 mothers, daughters, sisters and friends celebrated the event. “It’s a very special day in a very special venue for a very special cause,” Louise concluded.

Tickets can be purchased from Longford Women’s Link; Lure Boutique; Farrell and Coy; Hair Square and from www.longfordwomenslink.org.
