Dromahair Celebratory Walk

Come to Dromahair for a Lighted-hearted walk this evening, Friday, March 1 to celebrate the first day of Spring and DARC- Dromahair Arts & Recreational Centre getting a €178,000 Leader Grant!

DARC is a huge community project and local people have dug very deep in their pockets over (€170,000) during very tough and dark times, and they are going to celebrate and say thank you to ourselves!

So this Friday evening 6.30pm, we will set out from the Health Centre, have a chat ‘n’ a laugh; heading down through the village on to the Community Park. Come on your own or with your family, group, club etc. This could prove a great way to make new friends or to rekindle old friendships. One can join in or opt out any stage; remember every step is a step in the right direction!!

Tea/coffee and juice will be provided; so if you have half tins/packets buiscuits or sweets, cakes crisps etc it will be mighty! Sure we’ll have a right auld whooley!

We’re asking people to wrap up well and wear high-vis vest or armbands, bring a torch or candle to shine the light! Some children’s toys can be very effective in the dark.

This is a FREE event; who said no mon, no fun! Everyone is welcome; the more the merrier. Sure you’d never know who you might meet on the first day of Spring in Dromahair! Yipee!
