Good luck

We wish our intermediate players and management team good luck as they play Ballinaglera in the championship quarter final on next Sunday. The local derby always brings out the best in both teams. Ballinaglera have been playing well in their group, defeating Gortletteragh and St. Mary's and so topping the group. Drumkeerin, however after having an easy run against Annaduff, they never their act together against Aughawillan. They know that they did not do justice to the huge effort put in by them and their management team for over six months. It didn't help preparations for the championship that five of the panel were returning after long injuries. A further two were unavailable until recently due to studies in Scotland.

One hopes that the fortnight since the last game will have given them more match practice and that they will get the result that the huge efforts put in deserves.

Well done to the Juniors who lifted themselves up from a most demoralising defeat by Allen Gaels a fortnight earlier and proceeded to give a great whole hearted performance against Annaduff on Sunday to win by seven points. They now go on to the quarter finals.
