Evidence of ‘grow house’ in Ballinamore

Gardai are currently investigating the discovery of a suspected ‘grow house’ in the Ballinamore area.

Local Gardai searched a house in the “hinterland of Ballinamore” last Friday, January 4 following a lead.

Although the house was vacant when searched, evidence of cultivation equipment was discovered along with a small amount of cannabis.

Gardai believe the house was previously used to grow drugs. All evidence gathered was sent for forensic testing.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with any information is asked to contact their local Garda station.
