Gardai seek driver

Ballinamore Gardai are looking to speak to the driver of a jeep towing a trailer who picked up a passenger outside Ballinamore on Monday night, March 4.

A silver Mercedes was reported speeding through Ballinamore before 9pm on Monday March 4, it was later found at the Carrick-on-Shannon/Drumshanbo road at Ballyduff, Ballinamore turned upside down.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene with a briefcase supposedly in a jeep towing a trailer. The jeep drove in the direction of Drumshanbo.

The crashed car was found to have cloned registration plates and false documents.

Gardai in Ballinamore are eager to speak to the driver of the jeep who is believed to have carried a passenger outside of Ballinamore around 9pm.
