Glee Club comes to Leitrim

Glee recently exploded onto our screens, and has inspired and caught the imagination of many! Now some of Ireland's leading Choreographers and Directors are bringing the Glee experience to two venues across Leitrim this Summer. Mohill and Carrick-on-Shanon will be hosting Glee Club Summer Camps.

Glee Club Summer Camps - aim to give young people aged 8 to 18 the opportunity to sing, dance and act under the guidance of some professional tutorage. At the end of the week-long course, "Gleeks" will have the opportunity to showcase their work to friends and family!

It's true that dance, acting and singing classes can boost confidence, the emphasis of this summer camp is to nurture the individual talents (however strong or weak) that each of us possess and more importantly to have fun. Thomas Creighton, choreographer and co-producer of the Glee Summer Club said "What's unique about Glee Club is that it embraces all walks of life, all types of people and brings them together in their common interest. performing. It creates a space where people with a talent in singing, can mix easily with people whose talent is in dance and drama alike. We are delighted to be able to bring this type of Summer camp to youngsters throughout Leitrim"

What better and uplifting way to spend the summer than to dance, sing and act out some of your favourite tunes with friends. Be sure to book early to get your place!

Glee Club Summer Camps take place: July 12th - 16th at the Market Yard, Carrick on Shannon, and Aug 3rd - 7th at Canon Donohoe Hall, Mohill.
