HSE meet with Council reps on bed closures

Leitrim County Councillors have met with HSE representatives to discuss the closure of beds at St Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon.

The meeting, which was organised following a request by Cllr Francis Gilmartin, was held in Carrick-on-Shannon at 2.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).

The meeting was ongoing at the time of going to press and Cllr Gilmartin said that the response from the HSE would be relayed to those attending the public meeting at the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon this Friday night at 8pm.
