Man arrested after Boyle theft

Boyle gardai last week arrested and subsequently charged a man in Carrick-on-Shannon in connection with the theft of over p1,000 worth of goods from Brogan's Pharmacy, Boyle on Tuesday, February 23.

Another man was also arrested and charged for his involvement after being apprehended in the Boyle vicinity.

Over p1,000 worth of cameras and other items were stolen in the incident which occurred during business hours. It is believed one of the men distracted staff while the theft was being carried out.
