Mens Sheds in Mohill

A new initiative for retired and unemployed men ‘Men’s Sheds’ is expected to take upocation at Mohill’s Old Vocational School shortly.

The Mens Sheds iniative allows men to “feel useful” by restoring furniture, bicycles fixing items and learning skills as well as a social avenue for men. The project is being headed by Paul Hamilton from the Leitrim County Development Board.

Acting CEO Martin Fallon said the iniative is “well worthwhile.” Memebers welcomed the move and said it was great to have something in the old vocational school.

Mr Fallon said the project “ is hard to get up and running.”
