Quinns may give evidence against ex-Anglo executives

Some members of Sean Quinn’s family could be called to give evidence for the prosecution in the criminal trials of former Anglo Irish Bank Executives.

It is understood the Quinns case against Anglo Irish bank may be defered pending the outcome of criminal proceedings against some former Anglo Irish Bank executives.

Sean Fitzpatrick, former Anglo Chairman, Willie McAteer former Finance Director and Pat Wheelan Former Managing Director of Bank of Ireland are awaiting trial in the Circuit Criminal Court on charges of providing unlawful financial assistance to 16 individuals in July 2008.
