Don't forget to recycle your Christmas tree.

If you are wondering what to do with your Christmas tree when you take it down this year why not do your bit for the environment and recycle it. The Manorhamilton and Mohill Recycling Centres are now taking used Christmas trees up to Saturday, January 26, 2013 for the Gate Fee of €4.

The opening times for both facilities are as follows:

• Friday 11am - 2pm & 3pm - 6pm

• Saturday 9am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm

You can also avail of the Recycling facility for disposing of a car boot full of other recyclable items such as wrapping paper, newspapers, magazines, plastic bottles, tetra pack, steel/tin cans, old textiles, aluminium cans, aerosols etc once you have paid the €4 Gate Fee.
