Register for Flora Mini Marathon

Leitrim ladies are invited to register for 2013 Flora Women’s Mini Marathon.

The registration opened last week and ladies are advised to register as soon as possible. In 2012 hundreds of Leitrim ladies took part in the hugely popular 10k event, which takes place this year on Monday, 3rd June.

This year, Flora has teamed up with Masterchef’s Nicha Maguire to invite participants to share their favourite family recipes for inclusion in a new Flora Cookbook. Nicha and the Flora dietician, Harriette Lynch will work together to introduce small changes to recipes submitted by selected participants to make them even healthier by, for example, replacing salt with herbs, adding more vegetables and using healthier fats. Further information on the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon, the Flora Cookbook and to recipes on www.facebook.com/FloraWomensMiniMarathon.
