Van crashed after being stolen

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are investigating the theft of a van and the attempted taking of a lorry from Cloone football field in the early hours of Saturday morning last, September 15.

After an unsuccessful attempt to take a lorry, a van was taken from the same location before being crashed nearby.

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station at (071) 9620021.
