Taoiseach to speak at energy symposium in Drumshanbo

TAOISEACH, Enda Kenny will be one of the speakers at the RJK International Energy Symposium sponsored by ESB Electric Ireland which takes place on April 27, 28 and 29 in the Ramada Hotel, Drumshanbo.

The chief aim is to provide business opportunities in the Lough Allen Basin Smart Energy Hub (LABS Energy Hub). This includes the counties of Leitrim, Longford, Sligo, Roscommon, Cavan, Donegal, Mayo, Fermanagh and Tyrone. 

The organisers have set aside a limited number of delegate passes at a reduced rate for local companies and entrepreneurs. Delegates will learn about energy computer technology, energy tourism and associated business prospects. They will learn about the planning system for energy projects such as wind and biomass. Sligo IT will provide information on courses and incubation business support.
