LOUISE from local business Sweet Temptations Cakes in Keshcarrigan Co, Leitrim, was commissioned to create a cake for 102-104 iradio to celebrate their recent third birthday at Pure Nightclub in Sligo. The party was themed “Feel The Love” in conjunction with Valentine’s day and there was a black and white dress code for all the party goers.

Louise created a four tier cake in keeping with the black and white, Valentines theme and comprised of three different flavours, vanilla sponge, chocolate sponge and everyone’s favourite chocolate biscuit cake. Louise delivered the cake live on air and ended up in the hot seat with iradios Fergal Darcy.

Speaking to the Leitrim Observer Louise commented “ this was my first radio interview and to say i was nervous would be an understatement, but Fergal was great and he was really enthusiastic about the cake and wanted to know how i made it, which was a great help in taking my mind of the fact i was live on air with thousands of people listening in”.
